It is adjacent to Jianning, Taining, Guangze County and Shaowu City of Fujian Province in the East, It meets Shicheng and Ningdu County of Ganzhou City in the South.It connects Yingfeng, Xingan County of JiAn City and Fengcheng City of Yichun City in the west. It is adjacent to Guixi City of Yingtan City and Yugan County and Jinxian County of Nanchang City in the North. From North to South, the distance is about 222 kilometre, from East to West, its distance is about 169 kilometers. Fuzhou covers 18816.92 square kilometers which accounts for 11.27% of Jiangxi Province.
